We took up the challenge and created a delicious face oil that matches the beautiful book by Bjørg Thorhallsdottir; "Fryd - love and joy between two covers".
Bjørg Thorhallsdottir has a completely unique ability to communicate; both with pictures and with words. It was an honor to be asked to give my interpretation of the new, beautiful book; Fryd - love and joy between two binders in the form of a facial oil.
Fryd face oil is nurturing for both body and mind. It is full of love and gives a feeling of inner strength and joy. The oil contains beeswax from our own bees, in addition to, among other things, Norwegian mullet seed oil and oils from rosehip seeds, elderberries, green tea and marula fruit.
Already the book cover, the bright yellow color, and the pink butterfly with the playful woman, aroused emotions and inspiration;

There are many pictures and quotes in the book that inspired the creation of the face oil, especially "Let nature (and the good) embrace you". We humans live in an interaction with nature - we are created to complement each other. We could not actually survive without the services nature provides us; air, breathing, water and food. In addition, it gives us a place where we can find peace and tranquility in the soul. In nature there are no clocks, no time pressure. There is a time for everything. Things happen when and as they should.
I am very happy that Bjørg is constantly talking about taking care of Mother Earth, and that there is an increased focus/awareness of the importance of bees, and other pollinating insects, for us humans and for the planet.
By taking care of Mother Earth and all her creatures, we also take care of ourselves

It contains carefully selected ingredients that are sustainable and skin-friendly - all are healthy & kind to body and mind. The facial oil is nourishing for both body and mind. It is full of love and gives a feeling of inner strength and joy. The oil contains beeswax from our own bees. The oil is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and mature skin. The beeswax, which comes from our own bees, gives the skin a natural protective layer, and helps to keep the skin moist, soft and supple - without clogging the pores. In addition, it contains, among other things, Norwegian mullet seed oil and oils from rosehip seeds, elderberries, green tea and marula fruit.
For me, the book is briefly summarized;
Joy, love, self-worth, care (for yourself and others) and self-love.
I wanted to create a product that provides comprehensive care for both body/skin & mind, and which gives a feeling of everyday luxury, self-love and self-care. I have therefore added pure essential oils of rose, lavender and juniper berries in a total concentration of 0.1%, for the good of you and the planet.

Rose
is added because, in addition to having wonderful properties for the skin, it opens the heart to love, gratitude, compassion, positivity and the feminine goddess power - be free to be the goddess within you.
Lavender
is particularly inspired by one quote in the book: "Put on your invisible crown".
For me, lavender represents awareness of who I am, what I want, what are my dreams. Dare to follow your dreams - you can create what you want. Let the child in you run free, be playful.
Additionally, lavender brings out a sense of harmony and peace of mind, helping to come to terms with yourself, to be content with being exactly who you are. You are valuable.

Juniper berries
is widely used in purification ceremonies, and known to have healing properties. It provides a calming and grounding effect, and a feeling of inner strength and increased focus. Juniper berries have a regenerative effect (cell renewal) and reduce pigment spots and have been shown to be good against, among other things, eczema and rashes.
In the book, Bjørg conveys the importance of letting go;
Let go of all that is not you, all that is not yours, all that is not you.
Give a little more f... in what others think of you
FRYD face oil works deep into the skin and adds plenty of nourishment without clogging the pores. The oil is quickly absorbed and leaves a velvety smooth surface. The skin stays soft and supple all day, and it also doesn't feel tight and dry after a long night.
